Product Specific Information

This 9E2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD335 (NKp46), a member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor family including NKp30 and NKp44. CD335 is expressed on NK cells and plays a key role in the activation and expansion of resting NK cells through interaction with dendritic cells, aiding in the elimination of tumor and virus-infected cells. It also interacts with pancreatic beta cells during type 1 diabetes development. The 9E2 antibody has been reported to induce cytotoxicity.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells. Use at 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability.
• NovaFluor conjugates ship with CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01).
• Add 5 µL of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer per sample for optimal staining.
• For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).
