Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of ~1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
RYBP is a component of the Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, which maintains transcriptional repression of genes such as Hox during development.
This complex mediates monoubiquitination of histone H2A at Lys-119, altering chromatin expressibility.
RYBP is involved in X chromosome silencing, TP53 regulation, and apoptosis control via ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation of target proteins (e.g., FANK1).
It may also function as a transcriptional repressor and contribute to tumor growth suppression in breast cancer by down-regulating SRRM3.
