Target Information
CD26 (Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV, DPP IV, Adenosine Deaminase Binding Protein)은 프로릴 올리고펩티다아제 계열의 비정형 세린 프로테아제로, 림프구 세포에서 발현되며 T세포 활성화 시 증가합니다. 또한 활성화된 B세포, NK세포, 상피세포에서도 발현됩니다.
CD26은 다음과 같은 생물학적 기능에 관여합니다:
- T세포 활성화
- 세포 부착 (fibronectin, collagen 등과의 상호작용)
- HIV 감염 관련 경로
CD26은 세포막에 존재하는 세린 엑소펩티다아제로, 폴리펩타이드의 N-말단에서 X-proline 이펩타이드를 절단합니다.
암세포의 악성화 정도에 따라 CD26의 펩티다아제 활성이 증가하며, 류머티즘 관절염과 전신홍반루푸스 환자의 단핵구 및 CD4+ T세포에서 CD26 밀도의 변화가 보고되었습니다.
