MAP3K2 (MEKK2) is a serine/threonine kinase that activates kinases involved in the MAP kinase signaling pathway. It directly phosphorylates and activates IκB kinases, contributing to NF-κB signaling. MEKK2 also binds and activates protein kinase C-related kinase 2, indicating its role in regulated signaling processes.
