Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human Cathepsin B, C, L2, O, S, or X/Z/P is observed.
- In Western blots, both the pro and active forms of recombinant human and mouse Cathepsin L are recognized.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Cathepsin L은 리소좀성 시스테인 단백질분해효소로, 세포 내 단백질 분해에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 주요 기질에는 콜라겐, 엘라스틴, 그리고 중성구 엘라스테이스 활성을 조절하는 α-1 프로테아제 억제제가 포함됩니다.
이 단백질은 근병증과 심근허혈에서의 근섬유 괴사, 단백뇨에 대한 신세뇨관 반응 등 다양한 병리학적 과정에 관여합니다.
Peptidase C1 계열에 속하며, 단일 전구체 단백질로부터 생성된 이황화 결합된 중쇄와 경쇄의 이합체로 존재합니다.
동일한 단백질을 암호화하는 최소 두 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되었습니다.
