For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD68 (Macrosialin) is a 110 kDa integral membrane glycoprotein predominantly expressed on intracellular lysosomes of monocytes and macrophages, and to a lesser extent by dendritic cells and peripheral blood granulocytes.
It plays roles in phagocytic activities of tissue macrophages, including intracellular lysosomal metabolism and extracellular cell–cell and cell–pathogen interactions.
CD68 expression is observed in interdigitating reticulum cells in tonsil and certain histiocytic lymphoma or histiocytosis, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and granulocytic sarcoma.
Elevated CD68 expression has been demonstrated on CD34+ cells in various human malignancies, including several AML studies.
