Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD68 (Macrosialin) is a 110 kDa integral membrane glycoprotein mainly expressed on intracellular lysosomes of monocytes and macrophages, and to a lesser extent on dendritic cells and peripheral blood granulocytes.
It is involved in phagocytic activity and cell-cell or cell-pathogen interactions.
CD68 expression is observed in interdigitating reticulum cells, histiocytic lymphoma, histiocytosis, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and granulocytic sarcoma.
Elevated CD68 expression has been found on CD34+ cells in several human malignancies, including AML.
