Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
PRMT2 (Protein Arginine Methyltransferase 2) is an arginine methyltransferase that methylates the guanidino nitrogens of arginyl residues in proteins such as STAT3, FBL, and histone H4.
Functions as a coactivator for androgen receptor (AR), estrogen receptor (ER), and other nuclear receptors.
May inhibit NF-kappa-B transcription, promote apoptosis, repress E2F1 transcriptional activity in an RB1-dependent manner, and participate in growth regulation.
