- Detects a band at approximately 70 kDa in Western blot applications.

Target Information
CD4+ helper T-cells differentiate into Th1 and Th2 cells, essential for cell-mediated and antibody-mediated immunity. Th1 differentiation is influenced by IL12, and Th2 by IL4. Deficiencies in these cytokines or their receptors lead to impaired immune responses.
The gene encodes a glycosylated transmembrane protein similar to mouse T-cell cytokine receptor Tccr.
Diseases associated with IL27RA include Hyper IgE Recurrent Infection Syndrome 4 and Crisponi/Cold-Induced Sweating Syndrome 2.
