- This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, mouse, and rat based on sequence homology.
- Tested in Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000.
Target Information
The SART1 gene encodes two proteins: one expressed in the nucleus of proliferating cells, and another expressed in the cytosol of epithelial cancers. Translation involves -1 frameshifting during posttranscriptional regulation, and the full-length sequence has not yet been published.
Both proteins are implicated in proliferation regulation and possess tumor-rejection antigens. The SART1 protein includes tumor epitopes capable of inducing HLA-A2402-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocytes in cancer patients. This antigen may be useful for cancer immunotherapy and diagnostic research.
SART1 is also essential for recruitment of the tri-snRNP to the pre-spliceosome in the spliceosome assembly pathway.
