Anti-nuclear receptor ROR gamma pS203 is directed against mouse receptor ROR gamma phosphorylated at the serine 203 position. BLAST analysis suggests reactivity with Pongo abelii based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence.

Target Information

ROR gamma is a 560 amino acid DNA-binding transcription factor of the ROR/RZR orphan nuclear receptor subfamily. It functions as a ligand-activated transcription factor and is essential for lymphoid organogenesis (lymph nodes and Peyer’s patches).
It regulates apoptosis during thymopoiesis, inhibits Fas ligand and IL2 expression, and directs differentiation of proinflammatory IL-17+ T helper cells.
ROR gamma shares 50–51% sequence identity with RORA and RORB and is 88% identical to mouse ROR gamma. Highly expressed in skeletal muscle and found at lower levels in other tissues.
