They are composed of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, combining the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies with the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, and maintaining consistency through recombinant production.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating biological variability associated with polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
Cytokeratin 8 is a type II keratin located on chromosome 12. It forms intermediate filaments in epithelial cells by heteropolymerizing with keratin 18. This protein maintains cellular structural integrity and functions in signal transduction and differentiation. Mutations in this gene are associated with cryptogenic cirrhosis.
