Target Information
SPHK1는 SPHK2와 함께 sphingosine을 인산화하여 sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P)를 생성하는 효소입니다. S1P는 G 단백질 연결 수용체를 통해 다양한 세포 신호를 조절하며, SPHK 억제제는 암 치료의 잠재적 후보로 연구되고 있습니다. SPHK1에 의해 생성된 S1P는 세포 내외에서 신호전달 분자로 작용하며, 세포 분화, 칼슘 이동, 세포사멸(apoptosis) 등에 관여합니다. S1P 수용체는 EDG 계열의 G 단백질 연결 수용체(S1P Receptors)입니다.
