Target Information
TACC1은 염색체 8p11 영역에 위치하며, 이는 유방암 샘플의 약 15%에서 증폭된 것으로 보고되었습니다. 염색체 8의 짧은 팔에는 FGFR1이 존재하며, 대부분의 유방암 종양에서 그 발현이 증가합니다. TACC 계열 단백질(TACC1, TACC2, TACC3)은 각각 FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 유전자와 가까운 위치에 있으며, 이들은 세포 성장과 분화에 유사한 역할을 하는 것으로 제안됩니다. 또한 TACC1은 Drosophila의 D-TACC와 유사한 C-말단 영역을 포함하며, D-TACC는 정상적인 방추체 기능에 필수적입니다. 포유류 TACC 단백질은 중심체 및 미세소관과 상호작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
