Target Information
TACC1은 염색체 8p11 영역에 위치하며, 약 15%의 유방 종양 샘플에서 증폭되어 있습니다. 염색체 8의 짧은 팔에는 FGFR1이 존재하며, 대부분의 유방암에서 그 발현이 증가합니다. TACC 패밀리 단백질(TACC1, TACC2, TACC3)은 FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3과 각각 4, 8, 10번 염색체에서 근접하게 위치하며, 이들은 세포 성장 및 분화에 유사한 역할을 하는 것으로 제안됩니다. 또한, TACC1은 Drosophila의 D-TACC와 유사한 보존된 C-말단 영역을 가지고 있으며, D-TACC는 정상적인 방추사 기능에 필수적입니다. 포유류의 TACC 단백질도 중심체 및 미세소관과 상호작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
