Target Information
TACC1은 약 15%의 유방암 종양 샘플에서 증폭되는 염색체 8p11 영역에 위치합니다. 염색체 8의 짧은 팔에는 FGFR1이 포함되어 있으며, 대부분의 유방암 종양에서 그 발현이 증가합니다.
TACC 계열 단백질(TACC1, TACC2, TACC3)은 각각 FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 유전자 근처(염색체 4, 8, 10)에 위치하며, 이들은 세포 성장과 분화에 유사한 역할을 하는 것으로 제안됩니다.
또한, TACC1은 초파리 상동 단백질 D-TACC와 유사한 C-말단 보존 영역을 포함하며, D-TACC는 정상적인 방추체 기능에 필요합니다. 포유류 TACC 단백질 역시 중심체 및 미세소관과 상호작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
