Target Information
CCR4는 케모카인 수용체로, 주로 Th2형 보조 T세포에 발현됩니다. 다른 케모카인 수용체와 달리, CCR4 및 CCR8의 발현은 TCR과 CD28 자극 후 일시적으로 증가합니다. 활성화된 Th1 세포도 CCR4 발현을 상향 조절하며, thymus- 및 activation-regulated chemokine에 대한 반응성을 보입니다.
케모카인은 약 8~14 kD 크기의 작은 단백질로, 7-막관통 G 단백질 결합 수용체를 통해 다양한 백혈구의 이동을 조절합니다. 또한 면역계의 발달, 항상성 유지, 기능 조절에 핵심적인 역할을 하며, 중추신경계 및 혈관 내피세포에도 영향을 미칩니다.
케모카인은 첫 두 개의 보존된 시스테인 잔기 배열에 따라 CXC와 CC 두 가지 주요 하위군으로 구분됩니다.
