Product Specific Information
Rehydrate with 0.55 mL of deionized water and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. (Product has been overfilled to ensure complete recovery.)
Centrifuge to remove any particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
Shelf life: 1 year from date of receipt.
Prepare working dilution prior to use and then discard.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin rabbit serum proteins, IgG from human or mouse.
Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins.
They are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets.
Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
