Product Specific Information

Each lot’s sensitivity is confirmed using ELISA, and specificity is verified by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
Rehydrate with 1.1 mL deionized water, stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve (overfilled to ensure complete recovery). Centrifuge to remove particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C. For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin goat serum immunoglobulins.

Target Information

Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of goat antibodies.
Secondary antibodies provide versatility and enhanced sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
Typically produced by immunizing the host with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, then purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
