Target Information
Anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for rabbit immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rabbit IgG targets.
Secondary antibodies increase versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
