Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MSMB protein belongs to the immunoglobulin binding factor family and is synthesized by epithelial cells of the prostate gland, secreted into seminal plasma. It exhibits inhibin-like activity and may function as an autocrine/paracrine factor in uterine, breast, and other female reproductive tissues.
Expression of MSMB is decreased in prostate cancer. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified, and alternate polyadenylation sites are also reported.
