MA1-40320 detects TLR2 from human samples.
MA1-40320 has been successfully used in immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry applications.
The MA1-40320 immunogen is proprietary.


Target Information

TLR2 is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family, playing a key role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity.
TLR2 forms heterodimers with TLR1 or TLR6 to recognize various bacterial and mycoplasma lipoproteins.
It is highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and expressed abundantly in peripheral blood leukocytes.
TLR2 mediates host responses to Gram-positive bacteria and yeast through NF-kappaB activation.
Expression is regulated by immune modifiers such as LPS, GM-CSF, IL-1, IL-10 (upregulation), and IL-4, IFN-gamma, TNF (downregulation).
