Product Specific Information
Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
This antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).
Target Information
Cannabinoids exert their physiological effects through two G protein-coupled receptors, CB1 and CB2.
Both receptors inhibit adenylyl cyclase and stimulate MAPK signaling pathways.
CB1 receptors modulate ion channels via G-protein interactions, while CB2 functions mainly in the immune system, though it may also be expressed in the CNS and retina.
