• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

Cannabinoids exert their physiological effects through two G protein-coupled receptors, CB1 and CB2. Both receptors inhibit adenylyl cyclase and stimulate MAPK signaling.
CB1 receptors modulate ion channels through G-protein interactions and mediate psychoactive effects by inhibiting presynaptic N- and P/Q-type calcium channels.
CB2 receptors primarily function in the immune system but may also be present in the central nervous system, including the retina.
