This antibody detects endogenous levels of total FGFR1 Oncogene Partner.
Target Information
FGFR1OP encodes a largely hydrophilic protein, postulated to be a leucine-rich protein family member. A t(6;8)(q27;p11) chromosomal translocation fusing this gene with FGFR1 has been observed in myeloproliferative disorders. The chimeric protein includes the N-terminal leucine-rich region of FGFR1OP fused to the FGFR1 catalytic domain. It plays an important role in erythroid lineage proliferation and differentiation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct proteins have been identified.
