Target Information
Staufen homolog 2 (STAU2) is a double-stranded RNA-binding protein involved in mRNA transport and localization within cells. It contains multiple dsRNA-binding domains and shares 48.5% and 59.9% similarity with Drosophila and human staufen, respectively. The protein may participate in double-stranded RNA binding events. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
