Target Information
MSH3는 DNA 복제 후 불일치 수선 시스템(MMR)의 구성요소로, MSH2와 이합체를 형성하여 MutS beta 복합체로 작용합니다. 이 복합체는 DNA 불일치를 인식하고 수선 과정을 시작합니다. 결합 시 DNA 나선을 굽히며 약 20개의 염기쌍을 보호합니다. MutS beta는 최대 13 뉴클레오타이드 길이의 삽입-결실 루프(IDL)를 인식합니다. 불일치 결합 후 MutL alpha 이합체와 삼중 복합체를 형성하여 절단, 재합성 등 후속 수선 단계를 유도합니다.
