0.5 µg/mL 농도로 100 ng의 정제된 alphaA crystallin을 검출하기에 충분하며, 2차 항체로 Goat Anti-Mouse IgG:HRP를 사용한 colorimetric immunoblot 분석에서 약 20 kDa 단백질을 검출합니다.
Alpha B-crystallin, beta L-crystallin, beta H-crystallin, gamma-crystallin, HSP25, HSP27, HSP47 단백질과 교차 반응하지 않습니다.
Target Information
렌즈 단백질은 약 95%가 crystallin으로 구성되어 있으며, 골격근에서도 발견됩니다. 렌즈 내에서 crystallin은 굴절률을 유지하는 구조적 역할을 합니다.
포유류 렌즈에는 alpha, beta, gamma 세 가지 주요 crystallin이 존재하며, alpha-crystallin은 alpha-A와 alpha-B 두 가지 주요 유전자 산물로 구성됩니다.
Alpha-crystallin은 전체 렌즈 단백질의 약 40%를 차지하며, 단백질 응집을 방지하는 샤페론(chaperone) 역할을 수행합니다.
세포 스트레스에 따른 인산화 상태 변화는 구조적 안정성과 단백질 유지에 관여할 수 있습니다. Alpha-B crystallin은 Alexander 병과 관련이 있으며, 환자의 뇌세포에 축적되는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
