- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):
Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
For formalin-fixed tissues, heat tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Interferon gamma (IFNγ, Type II interferon)은 T-림프구 및 자연살해세포(NK cell)에 의해 생성되는 면역 인터페론으로, 대식세포 활성화 인자 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 두 개의 146 아미노산 서브유닛으로 구성된 이합체 형태의 약 45 kDa 당단백질입니다. SDS-PAGE 상에서는 당화 정도에 따라 약 25, 20, 15.5 kDa 밴드로 관찰됩니다.
IFNγ는 다음과 같은 생물학적 기능을 가집니다:
- 항바이러스 및 항종양 활성
- MHC class I 및 II 발현 유도
- 대식세포 활성화
- B세포의 면역글로불린 분비 촉진
또한, IFNγ는 다른 사이토카인과의 상호작용을 통해 면역 반응을 조절하며, JAK-STAT 경로를 통해 작용합니다.
인간 IFNγ는 마우스와의 교차반응성이 없으며, 두 종 간의 서열 상동성은 약 40%입니다.
IFNγ 발현은 IL-2, FGF-basic, EGF 등에 의해 상향 조절되고, 비타민 D3 또는 DMN에 의해 하향 조절됩니다.
IFNγ 유전자 변이는 재생불량성 빈혈과 관련이 있습니다.
