Target Information
TBK1 (TANK-binding kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the IKK family, involved in NF-κB activation and IRF3 signaling. It acts as a key mediator of immune and inflammatory gene expression. TBK1 phosphorylates I-κB via IKK complex activation, leading to NF-κB activation. It plays a crucial role in protecting embryonic liver cells from apoptosis and mediating signal transduction in response to growth factors and PMA.
