They combine multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies to provide both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, while maintaining lot-to-lot consistency. These antibodies recognize multiple epitopes, allowing high detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot is produced with a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, avoiding biological variability common in polyclonal antibodies.

Target Information
Transforming Growth Factor, beta receptor 2 (TGFBR2; also known as AAT3, FAA3, MFS2, RIIC, LDS1B, LDS2B, TAAD2, TGFR-2, TGFbeta-RII) is a member of the TGF-beta receptor Serine/Threonine kinase family involved in regulation of cell proliferation. TGFBR2 encodes the gamma subunit of the catalytic core of mitochondrial ATP synthase, which catalyzes ATP synthesis using the proton gradient across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation. The enzyme consists of two linked complexes: the soluble catalytic core (F1) and the membrane-spanning proton channel (Fo). Multiple transcript variants and a pseudogene on chromosome 14 have been identified.
