Product Specific Information

The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5/BLR1), a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor originally identified in Burkitt’s lymphoma.
CD185 is expressed on B cells, CD4+ T cells (excluding Th1/Th2), and memory T cells (CD45RO+). It plays a key role in lymphocyte trafficking and T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, serving as a marker for follicular helper T cells.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted, tested by flow cytometry on human peripheral blood cells; use 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test in 100 µL final volume.
Excitation/Emission: 405 nm / 436 nm (Violet laser)
Use a 450/50 bandpass filter or equivalent.

When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information

CXCR5 (CD185), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), is a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC. It is expressed in lymphatic tissues such as lymph node follicles and spleen, playing an essential role in B cell migration.
CXCR5 expression has been observed in human blood, salivary gland, and various animal tissues. As a member of the GPCR family, CXCR5 shares the seven-transmembrane structure common to these receptors and participates in complex signaling and regulatory pathways relevant to pharmacological research.
