Specificity: Human CAMKI/CAMK1
Target Information
CAMK1 (CaMK1) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. It plays roles in cell differentiation, nervous system development, and signal transduction. CAMK1 is expressed in various tissues and functions within a calmodulin-dependent kinase cascade. Calcium/calmodulin activates CAMK1 directly by binding and indirectly through phosphorylation mediated by CAMK1 kinase.
