For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Caveolin-1 (CAV1) is a scaffolding protein within caveolar membranes. It interacts with G-protein alpha subunits and regulates their activity. CAV1 is involved in T-cell receptor-mediated activation, co-stimulatory signaling, and can bind with DPP4 to induce T-cell proliferation and NF-κB activation.
Mutations in the CAV1 gene are associated with congenital generalized lipodystrophy 3, pulmonary hypertension primary 3, or partial lipodystrophy with congenital cataracts and neurodegeneration syndrome.
