Target Information
TXNL5 is a disulfide reductase that may participate in various redox reactions through reversible oxidation of its active center dithiol to a disulfide, catalyzing dithiol–disulfide exchange reactions. It modulates TNF-alpha signaling and NF-kappa-B activation, exhibits peroxidase activity, and may contribute to the elimination of cellular hydrogen peroxide.
