Product Specific Information
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Granzyme B is a member of the granzyme serine protease family, localized in the granules of cytotoxic T cells and NK cells. It is also known as CGL1 and CTLA-1, and plays a crucial role in apoptosis induction of target cells via caspase activation and mitochondrial pathways. Granzyme B interacts with mannose 6-phosphate receptor to mediate cytotoxic T cell-induced apoptosis. In humans, fewer granzymes have been cloned compared to mice.
