Target Information
PPM1G 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 PP2C 계열 Ser/Thr protein phosphatase에 속하며, 세포 스트레스 반응 경로의 음성 조절자로 알려져 있습니다. 이 phosphatase는 Pre-mRNA splicing factor의 탈인산화를 담당하여 기능적 spliceosome 형성에 중요합니다. 생쥐 모델 연구에서는 세포 주기 조절에도 관여하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
대체적으로 동일 단백질을 암호화하는 여러 전사체 변형이 존재합니다.
