This product is stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, anti-Alkaline Phosphatase, as well as purified and partially purified Glutathione-S-Transferase (Schistosoma japonicum).
Cross-reactivity against GST from other sources may occur but has not been specifically determined.
Target Information
Glutathione S-transferase (GST) is a 26 kDa protein found in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, where it catalyzes various reactions.
GST is widely used to create GST gene fusion systems, allowing purification of fusion proteins via their affinity for glutathione.
These GST-fusion proteins are valuable tools for studying direct protein–protein interactions.
The GST gene fusion system has been introduced into numerous expression vectors.
