CX-1B1은 Connexin 43의 비인산화 형태 중 하나에 특이적입니다. Ser368 잔기가 인산화되지 않은 상태에서만 인식하며, 다른 인산화 부위에서는 인식 가능합니다. 일부 세포 유형에서는 약 70 kDa의 미확인 단백질과 교차 반응이 관찰될 수 있습니다.
서양 블롯 분석을 통해 dog heart, human heart, mouse brain, mouse heart, rat brain, 그리고 Clone 9 rat liver cell에서 반응성이 확인되었습니다. Clone 9은 양성 대조군으로 권장됩니다.
면역형광 및 Connexin 43의 면역위치결정에도 사용되었으며, 면역조직화학에는 Rabbit polyclonal anti-Connexin 43 (Cat. No. 71-0700)을 권장합니다.
Target Information
Connexin 43 (Cx43)은 gap junction 단백질 패밀리 구성원으로, 세포 간 통신에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 6개의 Connexin이 헥사머로 조립되어 hemichannel을 형성하며, 인접한 세포의 hemichannel과 결합하여 gap junction을 만듭니다.
Cx43의 인산화는 gap junction의 조립과 기능 조절에 중요하며, Ser368은 PKC에 의해 인산화되어 세포 간 통신을 감소시킵니다. Src kinase 또한 Cx43을 인산화하여 통신을 조절합니다.
Cx43은 심장 내 주요 gap junction 단백질로, 심근 세포 간 결합과 동시 수축에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 관련 유전자 GJA1P는 염색체 5에 위치하며, GFAP 관련 돌연변이는 다양한 신경 및 심장 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다.
