Product Specific Information

The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed by all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. The cytoplasmic portion of CD45 exhibits tyrosine phosphatase activity, playing a key role in lymphocyte activation.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested with mouse bone marrow cells at ≤ 0.25 µg/test. Recommended to titrate for optimal performance.

Alexa Fluor 660 emits at 690 nm and is suitable for spectral cytometers.

Target Information

CD45 (LCA) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It regulates Src-family kinases and JAK kinases, influencing antigen receptor and cytokine signaling. CD45 isoforms arise from alternative splicing and differ by extracellular domain composition. This protein is critical for T- and B-cell activation, integrin-mediated signaling, and apoptosis regulation.
