Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes. After antigen retrieval, incubate samples with the primary antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature. A suggested positive control is placenta tissue.
Target Information
Annexin I belongs to a family of Ca²⁺-dependent phospholipid-binding proteins localized on the cytosolic face of the plasma membrane. Annexin I has a molecular mass of approximately 40 kDa and exhibits phospholipase A2 inhibitory activity. Since phospholipase A2 is required for the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, Annexin I may possess potential anti-inflammatory activity.
