Description:
This 6C4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD32 (Fc gammaRII), recognizing both FcγRIIA and FcγRIIB isoforms. These 40-kDa polymorphic transmembrane glycoproteins are expressed on B cells, granulocytes, monocytes, macrophages, platelets, and NK cells. CD32 mediates interaction between FcγRII-expressing cells and opsonized antigens or IgG immune complexes. Both receptors exhibit low affinity for IgG and are involved in inflammation and autoimmune diseases. This clone has been reported to inhibit Ig binding in rosette blocking assays.

Applications Reported:
Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Fluorochrome Information:
eFluor® 450 is an alternative to Pacific Blue®. Excitation at 405 nm, emission at 445 nm (Violet laser). Ensure instrument compatibility.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

Target Information

This gene encodes one of the immunoglobulin Fc receptor family members found on immune response cells. The encoded protein is a cell surface receptor on phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, involved in phagocytosis and immune complex clearance. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
