Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of TTK only when phosphorylated at Thr676.
Target Information
TTK is a serine/threonine kinase closely related to SPK1, PIM1, and CDC2 kinases. It is a dual-specificity kinase capable of phosphorylating tyrosine residues as well. TTK forms a heteromeric core enzyme composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, which associates with various regulatory B subunits. The constant regulatory subunit A functions as a scaffold for assembly. TTK encodes an alpha isoform of the constant regulatory subunit A, and alternatively spliced transcript variants have been reported.
