Product Specific Information
This antibody reacts with murine NK1.1, a type II integral membrane glycoprotein containing a C-type lectin domain. NK1.1 plays a stimulatory role in NK cell cytotoxicity. Activation through receptor cross-linking induces Ca²⁺ mobilization and interferon-gamma production.
Target Information
NK1.1 (Killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily B, member 1; KLRB1; NKR-P1A; CD161) is expressed on Natural Killer (NK) cells and certain T cell subsets. It mediates cytotoxicity and cytokine secretion upon immune stimulation. The KLRB1 protein is a type II membrane protein with extracellular C-type lectin motifs, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic domain. NKR-P1A recognizes Lectin Like Transcript-1 (LLT1) as its functional ligand.
