These antibodies provide consistent performance with every lot due to their defined recombinant composition.

While functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies—recognizing multiple epitopes and providing higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets—Superclonal™ antibodies are reproducible and consistent, avoiding biological variability.

Target Information

Arylsulfatase F (ARSF) is a 590 amino acid secretory protein belonging to the sulfatase family of bone and cartilage matrix proteins. It uses calcium as a cofactor to catalyze reactions essential for maintaining bone composition. Unlike other family members such as Arylsulfatase E, its activity is not inhibited by warfarin. The ARSF gene is located on the human X chromosome, which contains over 1,000 genes and plays a key role in sex determination. Abnormalities in sex chromosomes can lead to conditions such as Turner’s syndrome, color blindness, hemophilia, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
