Target Information

BID는 세포 사멸 조절 단백질군인 BCL-2 패밀리의 구성원으로, death agonist로 작용합니다. BID는 BAX 또는 BCL2와 이합체를 형성하며, caspase-8에 의해 절단되어 미토콘드리아로 이동한 후 cytochrome c 방출을 유도합니다. 이 과정은 세포 자멸(apoptosis)을 유도하는 핵심 경로로 작용합니다. BID는 TNF-α 또는 Fas ligand 자극에 의해 활성화되어 미토콘드리아 손상을 매개합니다.
