Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of NF-kB p65 only when phosphorylated at Threonine 435.
Target Information
Nuclear factor kB p65 (NF-kB p65) is encoded by the RELA gene and located on chromosome 11 in humans. NF-kB p65, also known as RelA, is a member of the Rel protein family and forms heterodimers with p50 or p52 subunits to constitute the NF-kB complex. Upon TNF-α receptor activation, IKK phosphorylates IκB, leading to its degradation and NF-kB activation. NF-kB p65 plays a critical role in transcriptional regulation of the immunoglobulin κ gene in mature B-lymphoid cells.
