Target Information
SHROOM 단백질 패밀리는 신경계 및 다양한 조직의 발달 과정에서 중요한 역할을 수행합니다. SHROOM3는 액틴 결합 단백질로, 상피 형태형성 과정에서 미세소관 세포골격의 조절자로 작용합니다. 이 단백질은 미세소관 조절인자 감마-튜불린의 재분포를 유도하며, 신경 상피 내 세포의 길이 신장과 상부 수축에 필수적입니다. 또한 SHROOM3는 척추동물의 장 발달 과정에서 세포 형태 변화와 형태형성에 필수적이며, 그 전사는 Pitx1 전사 인자에 의해 조절됩니다.
