Target Information
ACVR2B는 TGF-beta 계열의 type II receptor ser/thr kinase로, activin 및 myostatin 신호 전달 경로에 관여합니다. Activins와 inhibins는 TGF-beta superfamily에 속하며, 9개의 cysteine 잔기 중 7개가 보존되어 있습니다. 현재까지 포유류에서 7개의 type I 및 5개의 type II activin receptor가 클로닝되었으며, activin receptor IA, IIA, IB, IIB 등이 포함됩니다. 또한 activin receptor IIA의 두 가지 splice variant와 activin receptor IIB의 다섯 가지 splice variant가 보고되었습니다.
