EZH2 (Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase)는 Polycomb-group (PcG) 단백질군에 속하며, 이들은 세포 세대를 거쳐 유전자 전사 억제 상태를 유지하는 다단백질 복합체를 형성합니다. EZH2는 배아외배엽 발달 단백질, VAV1 온코단백질, X-연관 핵단백질과 상호작용하며, 조혈계 및 중추신경계 발달에 관여할 수 있습니다. EZH2의 돌연변이는 Weaver 증후군(WVS)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
